Editing Client's Phone Footage for personal brand video

Video is a non-negotiable for personal brands, whether you’re a 1:1 coach or you’re the face of a huge corporation.

It’s especially important for 1:1 coaches because it’s imperative that you start building relationships with your prospective clients every chance you get. But you may not have the resources that the head of a corporation does to hire an entire production team to create your video content.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t create professional looking personal brand videos with limited resources.

In this video I show you how easy it is to create a professional looking video by filming yourself and handing your phone footage to a video editor to transform it into something truly impactful.

What you need to know to create a personal brand video

As you can see, with a little know-how, access to a few resources and willingness to experiment, it’s fairly easy to create a professional looking personal brand video from phone footage.

It helps if you have a clear understanding and vision of your personal brand elements so that the messaging ties in with the visuals. Which is why I always tell my clients to start working on their internal brand before they venture out into creating their visual content.

In order to approach this kind of content creation with confidence, you need clarity to be able to create consistency.

Most newbie content creators struggle with creating their own videos or photos because they’re drawing inspiration from all over the place. You know what it’s like when you’ve got too much choice, right?

It’s overwhelming!

So when you’ve done the work on your personal brand plan, the number of options that are in alignment with your unique brand are limited making your decision making process so much easier.

Having helped Milyn with her Personal Brand Plan from the very start, I have a very good understanding of who she is, who her clients are, what her offers and what her message is.

Armed with this insight, it made my job as video editor so much more easy. All I had to do was go in search of the stock video clips, music and titles that lined up with the pre-determined parameters of her unique brand.

Have you thought of creating your own personal brand video? What specifically gets in your way?

Your content creation and online alignment starts with YOU.
